SNOW REMOVAL: Sidewalks: When snowfalls are less than ten centimeters, it shall be up to the adjoining property owner to clear snow from the sidewalks adjacent to their property. Sidewalk snow can be pushed onto the adjacent street for removal by Public Works Crews.
Parking Lots/Private Land: Snow from business parking lots or private land including drive ways, shall not be pushed onto the roadway. It is the property owner’s responsibility to have this snow removed.
On Street Parking: Every highway and portion of Highway within the Village of Nakusp is a designated Snow Removal Route. No person shall stop or park a vehicle on any street or road that is designated as a snow removal route during the period of November 15 to April 1 between the hours of 5 am – 9 am, daily.
